John Jung God raises up Cătălina Rebeca as a prayer mother ! 2016 Key verse Be shepherds of God's flock that is among you, watching over it, not because you must but because you want to, and not greedily but eagerly, as God desires. Do not lord it over the people entrusted to you, but be examples to the flock. (1 Peter 5:2-3) ※ 2016 Annual Review Shortly speaking, in 2016 we tried to offer ‘five loaves and 2 fish’ to God for the listening Bible students. I deeply thank God who was full of grace for our ministry in 2016. In the 1st half of 2016, we had to deal with a spiritually rough time because of one brother's leaving ministry for whom our family served several years with patience. This discouraged me very much for a while, but our family tried to focus our energy and time for the students who really wanted to listen to the Words of God, Cătălina Rebecca(Academy of Economical Studies, B.A), Bianca(Politehnica, Master) and Raluca (Academy of Economical Studies, Master 1). We never insisted them to come to our house. One of my special thanks to God is that they joined to our house church with a pure heart to learn the Bible and to know Jesus as a personal Christ without demanding their personal interest to us. [사진] (The left, Cătălina Rebeca, B.A. Accounting, Academy of Economical Studies ) After participation to Encounter Conference in 2015, God especially opened Cătălina's heart through continous weekly 1 to 1 Bible study(Genesis, John's Gospel, Romans, Acts) with Monica and her participation to the 2016 WMR(South Korea), Encounter conference(Germany) in 2016, Autumn conference (Greece). And her spiritual insight deepened last year and became to be a good coworker for our house church voluntarily. She started to understand what mission means practically and praying for establishing a God-centered house church which serves God's salvation history. Also she was a good coworker for our house church serving meals (She has a real serving mindset, maybe because she was brought up as a first daughter in her family), making Daily Bread in Romanian and sharing God's words with Sabina's family in New York. One special thanks giving topic is that at the beginning she really wanted to leave Romania as most of young potential people in Romania, but meanwhile she learned to accpet God's absolute Sovereignty while prayng for her marraige issue. Now she really has a faith to establish a house church regardless of location accepting God's sovereign guidance. Please pray for her to establish a God-centered house church which serves God's salvation history. Meanwhile God led Bianca from a baptist church in Timisoara, Romania to our ministry. [사진] (Bianca, M.D. Architecture, Politehnica) Cătălina helped for a while her through 1 to 1 Bible study and Bianca decided to be baptized in 2016. God helped her to obtain a four year scholorship for Seoul National Univ. in Seoul, South Korea. Now she is in her language course in Cheonan, South Korea, participating to SWS in Anam UBF in Seoul sincerely making effort to reach from Cheonan to Seoul every saturdays for 1 to 1 Bible study & SWS in Anam UBF. Pls pray for her to successfully pass the language course and to finish her B.A.(Architecture) in Seoul National Univ. May God lead her to learn the Bible well in her staying in South Korea and raise her up as a world mission coworker in His time. (She has a quite strong desire to be used by God for world mission.) We give a special thanks to God when we think of Raluca. [사진] (The right. Raluca, M.D (1st year), Government Accounting, Academy of Economical Studies) She is a very smart woman, who finished Academy of Economical Studies with a good results. Now she is in her Master's degree working in a multi national company(KPMG) which is a dream for many talented students here. She didn't have many worldly friends because of her moral and simple life style. This was one of the reason why she had been suffering quite long time because of depression. With the emptiness in her soul once she asked about Cătălna's spiritual life, and Cătălina led her to our ministry. She was a nominal Christian. But through weekly 1 to 1 Bible study (John's Gospel) with Monica, God started to open her spiritual eyes and she is participating to SWS sincerly fighting a good fight of faith with the persecution from parents. She is a very smart, moral and potential student. May God raise her up as a prayer mother for God's glory. ※ 2017 Prayer topics ① Work of the Holy Spirit through Bible Study (Exodus, Acts) & SWS message (Msn.
