한국인이 가장 좋아하는 팝송 50위 안에 드는 마이클 잭슨의 'Heal the world' 뮤직비디오 입니다~^ㅁ^ 어렸을 때 이 뮤직비디오를 보고 눈물을 찔끔 찔끔 흘리며 정말~크게 감동 받았던 기억이 나네용~~ 마이클 잭슨이 하늘 나라로 가고 난 후 지금 다시 이 노래를 들으니~ 세상을 치유하고~ 좋은 세상을 만드는 건! 오직 하나님의 말씀 뿐이라는 생각이 드네요~~ (흑흑....너무 감동적이야 ㅠㅠ) 암튼 목자님들~ 오랜만에 마이클 잭슨의 좋은 팝송 한번 들어보세요~~~ 이렇게 멋진 노래를 만든 마이클 잭슨 아저씨가 꼭 천국에 가셨으면 좋겠어요..♡ |

이 글을 올린 유빈 목자님의 취지와 마음을 십분 동감합니다. 주제 의식이 뚜렷하고 훌륭한 멜로디와 마이클 잭슨의 가창력이 어우러진 좋은 노래입니다. 그러나 Heal the world 란 노래의 가사가 저는 기독교인으로서 공감할 수 있는 부분과 그렇지 못한 부분이 있음을 또한 말씀드리고 싶습니다. 작사자는 우리 안에 사랑이란 장소가 있으며 이 장소를 잘 키우기 위해 노력하면 우리가 이 세상을 상처가 없는 더 나은 곳으로 만들어 갈 수 있다고 말합니다. 마치 인간이 세상을 아름답게 만들 잠재력을 가지고 있는 것처럼, 그것으로 더 좋은 세상 만들어 가자고 호소합니다. 그러나 죄로 인해 하나님의 형상을 잃어 버린 자연인에게는 그런 잠재력은 없습니다. 그리고 스스로 노력하다고 해서 해결될 일도 아닙니다. 상처보다도 상처를 만드는 죄문제가 먼저 해결되어야 합니다. 역시 해답은 복음 밖에 없습니다. 그런 점에서 보면 이 노래는 반쪽 자리 진실을 담고 있습니다. 우리가 사랑을 배우고 이기심을 극복하고 병든 세상을 치유하는 사람들이 되어야 한다는 점을 노래한 점에서는 옳습니다. 그러나 인간 스스로는 아무 것도 할 수 없고 오직 복음만이 그렇게 할 수 있다는 점을 이야기 하지 않기 때문에 반쪽 짜리입니다. 좋은 가사이긴 하지만 잘못하면 인간 스스로에 대한 희망을 고취하는 노래가 될까봐 염려스러운 것이죠. 또 우리는 better place로 만족하지 않죠. the best place 곧 하나님 나라를 소망하는 사람들이죠. 물론 대중 가수인 마이클 잭슨에게 너무 많은 걸 요구하는 것이겠죠? 예전에 어릴 때 마이클 잭슨의 문워크 (뒤로 가는 걸음)을 따라하던 시절이 생각납니다. 암튼 우리 시대 빼어난 아티스트 한 사람이 아직 젊은 나이에 세상을 떠난 것은 참 아쉽네요. |

끝 부분에 총을 내려 놓고 촛불을 드는 장면이 감동적이네요... 제 안에 미움과 이기심의 총을 내려 놓고 복음의 촛불을 들어야 함을 잠시 생각하게 되었습니다.... 오랜만에 들으니 좋네요.... | |
