보추와나 2007년 역사 보고
그동안 보추와나를 위해 기도해주신 동역자님들께 감사합니다. 아래를 읽어보시고 계속 보추와나를 위해 많은 기도해주시기 바랍니다. 편지와 역사 보고서 잘 읽어보세요. -------------------------------------------------------- 주안에서 사랑하는 모세 목자님 07 한 해동안 변함없이 부족한 저와 함께하시고 섬겨주신 하나님의 은혜와 긍휼을 감사합니다. 또한 변함없이 기도와 사랑과 강의안으로 섬겨주신 모세 목자님께도 감사합니다. 부족하지만 기도 제목을 나누고자 07 보츠와나 역사보고를 첨부합니다. 늘 강건하시기를 기도합니다. 은혜입은 정 디모데드림. ---------------------------------------- 2007 Botswana mission report & 2008 prayer topics(Timothy Chung) Key verse: (Isaiah54:2) "Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes." I. God gave us resident and work permit. We have prayed for permit problem for one year. God heard our constant prayer and finally gave us 5 years' resident and work permit through Taekwondo company. It was really God's wonderful work. It was a sign that God wanted us to use in Botswana campus mission. II. One day-Easter conference We had one day-Easter Bible conference based on 1Corinthians 15. God sent one boy student and 3 girls students to the conference. God gave us graceful Bible study time and we meditated on the victorious life in the risen Jesus. After that we had delicious braai party. The two students among them have begun 1:1 Bible study and come to our Sunday worship service. III. Kenya Inter-Africa summer Bible conference In the grace of God, Msns Timothy Chung and Deborah Chung and their three kids took part in Kenya Inter-Africa summer Bible conference. God also helped two Cameroonian brothers, Immanuel and Legrand, participate in the conference. We could refresh and strengthen our spirits through gracious words and love fellowship with many coworkers. Immanuel and Legrand made a decision of faith to stand firm in the word of God and to live as a shepherd for Cameroon campus mission. IV. Active 1:1 Bible study on campus After coming back from Kenya Inter-Africa summer Bible conference, Msns Timothy and Deborah were filled with new spirit to pioneer Botswana campus. Especially, Msn Deborah took care of kids with home schooling and afternoon went to the campus for Bible study. God brought several sisters through one sister Cathline. And Msn Deborah had more than 20 students for Bible study. She had no enough time to take more sisters for Bible study. God used Msn Timothy's Taekwondo for his mission and brought two students of university to the Taekwondo training. They began the Bible study and joined in Sunday worship service. And God brought him seven more students for Bible study, among whom three freshmen were left. Botswana has 1.8 million of population. It is a small country. But there are so many church that they say that the government approves a new church no more. And the students study with the government scholarship. Their future is secure. It seems that they don't need us. But God sent a lot of students to Bible study. It taught us that they need our Bible study and the campus of Botswana university is a big field that is ripe for harvest. V. Botswana Spring Bible conference We had spring Bible conference in September entitled "The truth set you free."(John8:32) and invited six students. We had a difficulty to invite many students because the campus was in test period and short term break. But during the conference God gave us much grace. God brought a Korean girl to the conference, who served the spiritual environment as keyboard player. Msn Deborah served delicious food at each meal. We also had sports fellowship like badminton and Taekwondo. They enjoyed it a lot. We learned two main lectures; John 8 and John 21. After the Bible study, we wrote and shared the testimony. Sister Cathline repented her lustful sin and grew in faith in Jesus. VI. Self-support ministry Msn Timothy had to change Taekwondo training place twice. Because of this he lost some trainees. So he prayed continually for this problem and looked for a good rental place in newspaper every morning. Finally he found out a place that was a little small, however well situated. And God has been sending new trainees. To enlarge Taekwondo business, he visited public officers and made demonstration in international schools. VII. My personal testimony Throughout 2007, I have prayed to learn Hezekiah's prayer based on 2Kings 19:14. I made a decision to bring all problems to God in prayer. God heard my prayer and showed his mercy on campus mission and self-support ministry as well. God solved permit problem and brought some good students to Bible study and gave a good place for Taekwondo training. But sometimes, I couldn't keep on praying because of my physical laziness. I pray that in 2008 I lengthen the cord of prayer and strengthen the stake of prayer to enlarge campus mission and Taekwondo business. 2008 prayer topics 1. That Botswans UBF be registered as a club in Botswana university and have a room for Sunday worship service. 2. That we have more than 10 students in Sunday worship service. 3. That a man of faith and a woman of prayer be raised on campus. 4. That Msn Timothy have more than 50 Taekwondo trainees for self support. 5. That we have close fellowship with Immanuel, Legrand, Christian and Serge in Cameroon. |
